1、改進酸性潤濕液。

以鉻酸、磷酸為主，酸性越強，對油墨連結料和顏料的分解力、腐蝕力越大，致使印跡膜面粗糙，降低了光澤。

在油墨中加放適當的輔助劑，可以調節油墨的印刷適性，以便順利印刷，絕大部分輔助劑對于成品光澤都會帶來不利影響。例如防粘劑，主要原料為六谷粉，加入油墨后，印跡膜層表面由于玉米粉的析出而變的粗糙，成品光澤性就差。

4、正確使用燥油。

對于高級的亮光快干油墨，在溫、濕度正常的情況下，自身已有足夠的干燥能力。如果在冬季溫、濕度偏低或者油墨內須添加防粘劑、去粘劑、薄調墨油等的情況下，都應加放燥油。在工藝操作中，正確的使用燥油，對于成品形成光澤非常有利。這是因為紙張吸收連結料需要一定的時間，在此過程中，盡快使連結料凝聚，直至結膜干燥，是成品光澤好的關鍵。

5、注意噴粉。

噴粉同油墨一樣，也會產生凝聚，特別是密封不好的袋裝或桶裝，噴粉受潮后，凝聚成較大的顆粒，噴到濕墨印跡上，使墨層表面結膜粗糙，降低了原有的光澤，因此噴粉要注意防潮。另外，噴粉裝置的機構上有加熱裝置，在使用噴粉時應加以檢查，加熱裝置是否失靈。

除此之外，正確調節機器，也可以提高印刷品光澤度，印跡墨層厚度是否達到標準，對于光澤也有影響，因此，要把壓力調整好，使網點的擴大率控制在15%左右，所印的產品墨層既厚實，層次又拉的開，光澤自然也會有了。
